LECTORS (Ministers of the Word)

  • SERVE THE LORD BY proclaiming the Word of God from the Ambo (pulpit) at Mass.
  • TASKS INCLUDE preparing for and proclaiming the Firt or Second Reading at the Weekend Mass you usually attend. Open to all ages 8+.

ALTAR-SERVERS (Ministers of the Altar)

  • SERVE THE LORD BY helping Fr. Mario and the Ministers at the Altar during Mass.
  • TASKS INCLUDE carrying the Cross or Candles at the beginning and end of Mass, preparing the Bread and Wine at the Offertory, and helping with Communion. Open to ages 8+.

CHOIR SINGERS (Ministers of Praise)

  • SERVE THE LORD BY leading the congregation in praise at one of our Weekend Masses.
  • TASKS INCLUDE singing / playing an instrument at Mass, learning / practicing selected song, attending scheduled practices in person/online. Open to all ages 8+.

CHILDREN’S CATECHIST

  • SERVE THE LORD BY helping with Children’s Liturgy (Sunday School) at Mass.
  • TASKS INCLUDE leading Sunday School - formally called The Liturgy of the Word with Children - at the 5 PM Saturday Mass and the 11 AM and 1230 PM Sunday Masses.

COMMUNION CATECHIST

  • SERVE THE LORD BY preparing children for their First Confession and Holy Communion.
  • TASKS INCLUDE attending preparation meetings with Vlad, then working with 2-3 other Catechists to facilitate the Program from January to May 2024. Open to all ages 13+.

  • SERVE THE LORD BY preparing youth for their Confirmation.
